PRAY
for Pastor Cyneatha & Steve Millsaps as they transition
to Markham!
On June 29, 2008, CMC voted unanimously to call Cyneatha Millsaps as full-time Lead Pastor, beginning January 1, 2009. She will serve with Pastors Chuck & Bonnie Neufeld who are delighted to continue as members of CMC’s pastoral team under her leadership. (See note below from Pastor Chuck.)
We are so blessed to have Cyneatha & Steve in our lives. What a profound gift they are. It’s great that things have worked out for them to use the recently renovated apartment in Hope Community Services for the days Pastor Cyneatha is committed to be in Markham. At this time those days are Thursday to Sunday. Cyneatha and Steve plan to be fully settled in Markham by the time she takes on the duties as Lead Pastor on January 1, 2009.
May the Holy Spirit
direct Pastor Cyneatha
and Steve as they navigate
through this time of
transition.
As great as it is to
have them in town
Thursday to Sunday,
we are anticipating their
permanent move to Markham
with great joy and thanksgiving!

Pastor Chuck Neufeld has accepted a full-time assignment with IMC, serving the Illinois Mennonite Conference as Conference Executive Minister beginning January, 2009.
“Given these new duties, my ongoing involvement as a member of CMC’s pastoral team will be “pro bono” and will be determined by how much time and energy is available. I am completely confident that God has acted on our behalf and will lead us through this wonderful time of discernment. Who could have imagined such a development? I look forward to being a part of a pastoral team that is headed up by Pastor Cyneatha!” — Chuck Neufeld, 7/4/08
